Setting good habits at a young age will carry through to adulthood and set our youth up for success! - You can age gracefully! Many believe that reaching a certain age inevitably means a decline in strength and vitality, but that couldn't be further from the truth. While you may need to modify your workouts, staying active and preserving muscle mass are essential for maintaining your energy and mobility as you grow older. With the right approach, you can continue to thrive and enjoy an active lifestyle well into your golden years! - Food is medicine - You are capable of great things if you put your mind to it - It does not take hours in a gym or running a marathon to see and feel changes - Every person is unique. Finding the ideal combination of diet and exercise is essential for reaching your goals. By customizing these elements to suit your individual needs and lifestyle, you’ll pave the way for meaningful and sustainable progress Background I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where my love for soccer ignited at the age of five. It quickly became more than just a sport; it became a defining part of my identity. By the age of ten, I made the leap into travel soccer, which fueled my passion and determination to excel both on and off the field. Soccer not only kept me focused but instilled in me the importance of academic achievement. Poor grades meant I couldn't play. I was fortunate to be part of an incredible team that clinched the Ohio State Championship in 1999 and proudly secured third place in regionals. As my teen years progressed, I continued to dedicate myself to the game I loved, pouring countless hours into practice and competition. Unfortunately, injuries derailed my dreams of playing at the college level, but they didn’t extinguish my passion for fitness. At 14, I started my gym journey in the high school gym and fell in love with working out. What began as a way to stay fit for soccer transformed into a lifelong commitment to health and wellness. Today, I still embrace that passion, consistently hitting the gym and exploring new ways to challenge myself. Each step of my journey has shaped who I am and fueled my desire to help others find their path to fitness and well-being!
